They argue that he should not discriminate against employees based on their political beliefs. Like they do to twitter users.

Hahah.
By making such demands, these idiot employees are shooting themselves in the foot.
They are basically telling Musk that they have been spending their time building fiefdoms, not building a business.
People who have an interest in building the business would be reaching out to Musk with ideas for growth, expansion, and improved efficiency.
Employee demands translation: "Fire me, fire me...fire me first!!!:

Native speakers of English are familiar with a common English proverb:
"turnabout is fair play".
As part of their severance package, Musk will hand out souvenir key chains inscribed with that proverb.
And sorry, Twits: you've been canceled!

All these employees are not moderators. So give you one guess what they are actually paid to do for the platform.

They argue that he should not discriminate against employees based on their political beliefs. There are also demands that the potential buyer must commit to fair severance policies and clearer communication about working conditions.Elon made the initial offer and withdrew it after not getting good answers to his questions the Twitter people tried to force him to buy the company via a lawsuit. Well, now he is buying the company. As for their argument about not discriminating on basis of politics, they should have practiced what they preach. Fair severance policies? As the owner he will determine what is a fair severance. The Twitter folks could have been secure and safe by not suing. Now that they have forced his hand, watch out! Popcorn, anyone?

Hire at will. Fire at will. This ain’t government. It is, however, California. So there will be lawsuits and court cases and plaintiff friendly judges to deal with.

They do not write code, and they do not moderate. Dump all the twitter owned fake accounts and he will be cancelling out these jobs they are complaining about wanting to keep.
Because that is what these employees do... Run fake accounts.

Can you imagine - if he in fact cuts most of the workforce that is involved with “managing content” and just reinstates everyone who was banned and let’s it go - what the impact would be? Trump could be back on Twitter by the weekend (if he wanted to be), along with all the other conservative voices that were silenced.
Talk about your October (or early November) Surprise...
And with a big cut in salary costs, even after the write-off he would show massive profits “like you never saw before”.
So, Musk at Twitter, Ye running Parler, Trump has Truth Social...guess the only question left is: “Who will buy Facebook?” The time is right.

If Elon decides he doesn’t need employees to track, harass, ban and filter conservative opinion and commentary, a lot of liberal snowflakes will find themselves unemployed.
