No need to worry. It is just a natural Heat Sink to absorb all the glo-Bull Warming in this part of the world.

I remember back in the early 1980s when “El Nino” first became a byword.
A storm like this hit the area of North Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas.

Our local weather chick stood out on an empty parking lot at night and said...”The question that is on everyone’s mind,(then looking straight at the camera with a look of terror on her face...) IS THIS EL NINO?”

I wanted to throw a boot at the TV screen.

Don’t wreck your stuff. Bimbos gotta bimbo. We had killer snow fall here in Idaho through the 80’s. We need it bad now. We are bingo water levels in the reservoirs. Being an old man scooping snow ain’t great but losing crops for lack of Irragation water is worse. Winter is what makes our summers good. This climate change is messing up my fishing schedule but bring on the snow. Hope the weather man ain’t wrong.

The real fun will be in Tornado Alley, where the cold front meets the hot western front. They’re either going to be lots of tornadoes, or the contrast will be too great and they will get canceled out.

It dropped 20 to 25 degrees here on the Idaho panhandle. Turned our heater on for the first time this morning. The back of the house was down to 49 degrees.

Rain came through all day yesterday and early this morning. We are at 2,300 feet and the mountains across the lake are supposed to have snow down to 2,500 to 3,000 feet. Not much wind so far.

I’m doing a lot of winterizing right now and hauling the summer patio furniture to storage. Just drained and flushed the water heater because deposits were making noises in the bottom of the tank.

Victor Davis Hanson and Tulsi Gabbard were speaking in Spokane last week (or the week before). I wish I’m heard about it in advance...I would love to have been there.

Accuweather PANIC PORN. The NOAA isn't predicting anything like this, anywhere that I can find.

Yep.

Beautiful weather here in the Peoples Republic of Wisconsin.
Something is telling me to prepare the snow thrower.

Yeah, I didn’t hear anything about it. I would loved to have been there. He says Gabbard was most gracious, stuck around to make sure everybody that wanted to talk with her had a chance to do that, and was polite to a fault.

I forgot to mention that the weather chick was 900 miles south east of the storm.

We had 18 degrees here in NW Arkansas two days ago. Today it was warm and I worked outside in shorts all day long.

Earliest cold spell I can ever remember. Usually it is the middle of Nov before the cold weather sets in. 1976-1977 was a dozy of cold and snow. It was used as proof we were entering THE COMING ICE AGE!

Well if you’re going to watch one massive storm that’s the way to do it. 😁. Regards
