Yep, I called that the day it happened. I work injury claims, the vast majority are inflated and a good number are complete BS.
My insurance rates went up by DOUBLE last year. My insurance guy said that 20 years ago the highest personal injury claim he had ever seen was $500,000 or something (a death).
He said now he sees million dollar claims for injuries where the person can still get around okay, “but can’t work and provide for his family”.
