If you look at the trends in pop culture over the last 3 decades the direction of society toward collapse has been more than obvious.
We should be getting better over time (smarter, more educated, wiser, more cultured, more dignified, more productive, more efficient, etc.), but we are clearly going in the opposite direction.
I find myself agreeing with her most of the time, it seems.

Advocating for a new aggrieved group allows earlier groups to build a perimeter layer to shield themselves from scrutiny and push their own behavior toward the center of “normalcy”.
IIRC many moons ago Rush was telling a story about going to one of those big political dinner events. The left sponsors thought it would be fun to put him and Camille at the same table. He said they got along just fine and enjoyed the evening.
