They (Epoch) sent a hard copy ‘newspaper’ to my folks. The folks dropped our local liberal (or should I say LIEberal) rag about a year and a half ago (you wouldn’t believe the phone calls, trying to get them back as subscribers!). The folks like the Epoch paper, but the subscription is really expensive, so they didn’t do it.
Dad can’t do online (99 yo - it’s all a ‘mystery’ to him) & while my mom is online (mostly email, but a few conservative sites), she has issues with computers & I frequently have to bail her out of ‘trouble’.
That is how I first learned about the Epoch Times as well. Like you said the paper version costs a lot... I am paying $5 a month and consider it more of a donation since you can see what is in it without paying and look up what is in their premium articles by doing a search.
Sorry, what I posted is a little confusing... I am paying $5 a month for a digital subscription. I also am subscribed to OAN using their KlowdTV app. For a couple dollars a month they have a bunch of conservative channels. You can also watch that mostly for free.
