It’s not nothing from nothing, it is matter from energy. We already have ways to annihilate matter and get energy out of it.

Not much (as in barely detectable). But the point isn’t to make practical amounts of anything, much less “replace God”. Go outside at night and look up. That is God’s creation. The history of science makes the sheer scale of it more apparent.
