On Nicolle Wallace's MSNBC show this afternoon, MSNBC contributor and journalism professor Jason Johnson got off the whopper to end all whoppers. He said:
"If you believe the story, which I do, that [Biden] said, I had no intention of running for president. He was, he was the retired war hero out in the mountain, chopping wood. Charlottesville brought him back into the fight that he never thought he'd have to fight again."
Fact: Biden never served in the military, let alone having been a "war hero." He got four draft deferments for "asthma."

Sure, didn’t ya know? He drove a semi tractor frai,er truck throughout Cambodia, to deliver Chinese food to the starving Cambodians and the homeless- all at great personal sacrifice. He also discovered the cure for cancer while stuck,in a ditch on sultry summer morning as he waited for a tow truck to arrive. Having grown impatient, he lifted the tractor trailer out of,the ditch himself, after having rolled up his pantlegs which revealed his super hairy legs to,the onlooking crowds who stood in awe. He rewarded the patient adoring crowd by sniffing their hair for hours.

Of course Joe Stolen-Valor never actually served in the military anywhere, and for reasons even more specious than the reasons that liberals like to club Donald Trump with, for “exemption” from military duty.
The allusion was to the old retired “warrior” being called back into the fray after Charlottesville, as “duty to his honor”.
Joe Biden was, is, and always be a diminishment of human achievement everywhere, and the textbook example of a hack politician, more interested in embellishing and polishing his “image” than in any acts of statesmanship.
The only time Biden has been around a hero is when he ordered a salami sandwich in some Scranton deli.
Seems like he meant this to be metaphorical. He failed.

I'm curious, though. What war hero retired to the mountains, was chopping wood, and "Charlottesville brought him back"? Sounds like somebody in the Civil War. George Washington was famously called back from retirement at Mt. Vernon to lead the country as its first president.
Maybe he's saying that the lies told about Trump about the Charlottesville event are what animated Biden to get into the race? It sounds like a wildly mixed metaphor -- war hero, chopping wood in the mountains, called back by horrific events at Charlottesville. It took a fevered mind to conjure that one up.
The mental image of Biden "chopping wood" is hilarious. They guy has never done a lick of hard work in his life much less had a callous on his little girl fondling hands.
WAIT!! I found a picture of Biden at age 70 chopping wood in the mountains!
