BTW, as far as the queen doing “nothing”, as I understand things, even using her reserve powers to veto an act of Parliament would have resulted in a revolt against the monarchy. Very large blame to be put upon the elected (and unelected) representatives in Parliament.
The Church of England as it became (until recently) is more due to Elizabeth I than Henry VIII, BTW. And there’s a reason why the USA is more Protestant.
The USA is in the post-Christian era, never to return to any semblance of God fearing.
