The definition of ‘vaccine’ was reinvented by the CDC. I refer to the old definition and not the “more inclusive” definition.

I believe you, but see, information that is reported to us (as opposed to what we see with our own eyes) may not be accurate. The inaccuracy may or may not be intentional.

We know the story of how one person says something to another, and they pass it on to another, and down the line the story becomes different from the original.

That dictionary definition shows that even dictionaries might not tell the whole story. Perhaps a big fat unabridged dictionary would give the evolution of meanings leading to the current one.
