The actual study says both 9-tert-butyl doxycycline (9-TB) and standard doxycycline (Dox) did the same thing, but standard doxycycline can have an effect on bacteria that is sidestepped with the 9-TB form.
It doesn’t impact COVID or the flu, but it definitely impacts death from them, via ARDS.
