Few currently disagree with the notion that Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald should be suspended for his behavior at Thursday’s joint practice with the Bengals. Players who swing helmets should always face significant punishment, regardless of whether the incident results in a serious injury. Otherwise, guys will keep swinging helmets until someone suffers a serious injury — and then the NFL will act surprised that someone was seriously injured after getting hit by a helmet.

Mike Florio has cowardly opinions. The team should suspend him. If not the league should do it. Pass the buck. Aaron Donald’s trump is to get angry at the team so the Rams will be even more cowardly.
To the freepers who have given up on the NFL: I don’t believe you. The whole country is looking forward to football. Otherwise the Aaron Donald’s out there wouldn’t be making so much money.
He swung the helmet multiple times and you can hear two distinct loud impacts with other helmets (presumably occupied by human heads/brains).
BUT Aaron Donald is an NFL Super-Star one of the marketable faces of the league, so this gets swept under the rug. Had it been a second string player, well, Katy bar the door-punishment galore!
Did you see the video of him choking a rookie DL? He was having the guy bull rush him, and he would grab him by the throat and push him back, snaping the guy’s head back several times before he would let go. He did this “drill” several times.

I stand corrected. He called the kid over and practiced his move. Still, I’ve never seen a drill like this before.

In my case you would be wrong if you don’t believe me. The black culture has ruined it. I’m on the verge of giving up college football, too, for the same reason.
What’s an NFL?
Having the world by the tail means not having to behave yourself, for many.

You disappoint me. There are some of us out here that have given up on many sports that have done things to earn their lack of respect.
I think there are many out there that have the intestinal fortitude to carry through on their beliefs. I’m one. I haven’t watched any sporting event that is promoting certain ideals for many years. Problem is you don’t hear about them. The media is good at saying there are a million people watching a sporting event and people believe them. But the media lies because they have a piece of the action and their money driven agenda is for the butter on their bread at the table.
All last year the shares of TV viewers was down and they admitted it. But it was swept under the rug with the fan appreciated failures of the individual sports and the animals they hired to sensationalize a lack of character and civility to the people that align themselves with it. I won’t be one. And I’ll bet there are a lot more of us out there that the media counts as viewers and supporters.
Do you believe the media driven display of the election failures and the support of even taking a look at the possibility of those failures? If not, so why believe them when they say sports viewership and support is up? Follow the money trail.

Reminds me of when I had to take a drunk driving course decades ago. I was shocked that so many young guys couldn’t believe anyone could give up alcohol, or even imbibe it only socially without getting drunk. Sobering indeed.
I haven't watched or listened to an NFL game (pre-season, season, or post-season) in at least over 25 years. As a matter of fact, I haven't watched any sporting event except the Army-Navy football game (and post-season Army or Navy Bowl games) in at least 25 years.
