It appears that American woman are volunteering to hookup on their own at their own pleasure.
From what I’ve seen on some Youtube videos there are some woman who are proud of the fact that they have hooked up with multiple partners during a week’s time.

In a dept I worked a 20 something attractive gal talked about difficulty getting things on with her latest guy saying he was too small ..... Well I heard about enough and said... “Perhaps the problem isn’t he’s too small”
The aghast sounds echoed from one gal in that huddle to the other.... It was sooo funny!
