we're sitting here with our fan....haven't turned on the window air conditioner and we even have the oven on....

its about 90 degrees out but our house stays pretty cool out here in priviledged land.

Hell, I lived in New Orleans for several years with just box fans and ceiling fans. And New Orleans in summer is light years worse than New York.
