Banks very good, Vera I liked at first but seemed slow after a while. Shetland is good. Happy Valley very good.
Sometimes I watch British crime shows just for the scenery. The Coroner isn’t great, but, aah, coastal Devonshire.
I felt that about Vera too but the latter seasons got better.
I guess our absolute favorite is Father Brown. The one with Mark Williams. Great scenery, nice little crimes, a bit of humor, tea and Mrs. McCarthy’s scones set in a Cotswold village in the 50’s.
