Camping gear that won’t fit inside because 4 adults and two large dogs.A roof top carrier and storage box/platform won’t be enough.

A 5x8 Uhaul with all our gear will weight about 2200#. An easy load for a Tahoe.

Sounds like you oughta look into renting a cargo van or a sprinter van.
