I may be weird but I remember, at the age of 9, when we got our first TV way back in 1956. We watched anything on the TV that moved.

However, Leave it to Beaver left us kids cold. Never cared for that show.

Upper middle class white kids in trouble was about as far away from my rural Mississippi outhouse out back, hand pump water from a well upbringing as you can get, but I enjoyed it because it showed me that there as another world that I could live in.

I was born in Poverty.

I was raised in Poverty.

I did not like Poverty

So I left Poverty..................................
