Is that Wally?
Wow… I always felt he was older
LOVED Leave It To Beaver..great show..I remember the episode where Beaver went to an all girl party and the father of the girl let him play with all of his guns, you’d never see that on TV today..RIP Wally, Beaver is the only one left :(
Gee, Wally...
Golly Wally,
RIP
Oh heck!
May he rest in everlasting peace!.
“Gee, Wally!”
RIP
Seemed like a nice guy.
RIP
RIP, Good Sir, and thanks for the heaping helping of good old Americana you were part of.
Funny cameo:
I recall watching an old rerun of Mod Squad and he guested on it. Kind of funny and interesting to see him in a non Wally role.
Ward, June, Eddie Haskell, Lumpy Rutherford, Miss Landers - only the Beav is left. (I checked, and the actress who played Miss Landers died way back in 1984.)
Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell) passed away in 2020. I read his auto-biography. He was police officer for the LAPD for 18 years and part of that time he was a motorcycle cop. In one 1980 incident, he was severely wounded while attempting to stop a car theft.
“Awww, come on Beev, quit being a dopey kid”
RIP Sir.
Thank you for your contribution to a a clean wholesome portrayal of American life and a positive influence on my childhood.
RIP Tony. Not easy being the Beav’s brother.
No more giving anyone “the business.”. RIP Tony.
Beav’s big brother.
RIP.
I have always been a big fan of Leave it to Beaver. I grew up with it, and I still enjoy watching the show. It was a great show...and Tony Dow was a big part of why. I have followed him on Facebook for years, and he seemed like a real good guy.
It’s sad that so much of a wonderful childhood is disappearing every year.
LITB always takes me back to a different time and place. A better time in this country. The show was just about goodness, morals, virtues, and everything that made America great. I think America could use more folks like Wally, Beaver, Ward and June...and all the friends like Larry Mondello, Whitey Whitney, Gilbert Bates, Lumpy Rutherford, Mrs. Rayburn and Miss Landers, Eddie Haskell, and of course Burt the fireman. We could all use more folks and times like that in our lives.
Rest In Peace Tony. God Bless you and your family.
They like to do these mashup things where a current actor is "talking" to a character of a prior show - like today's Jamie Farr "talking" to Morticia from the old "Addams Family" as if he's Klinger.
Bad timing for MeTV. I wonder if they'll pull that.
