Modern liberals: I don’t agree with you. So I’ll persecute you without mercy.
Wait a minute. Modern liberals sound less like liberals and more like fascists.
It’s why I refuse to call them Liberals. I don’t like the word “progressive” either as it implies “progress”, which they’re not...but “regressives” is purely an insult so I just call them “leftists” now.
And today’s leftists are fascists.
