To me it looks like the Trump family is a bit like mine. Divorces made no difference. In my family, once you were in, you were invited to every big family gathering. All of them. There are times when you must put aside your differences for the good of the whole.
I have always kind of assumed that Ivana still had a close relationship with Vanessa and the kids. The only one that Ivana still had a problem with is Marla Maples. I guess Ivana and Donald were friendly.
I read an article a few years back that Ivana had no bad feelings for Melania. She did not see Melania as stealing her husband.
Weddings, too; very hard for the dumped mother of the children. But Barron had no blood relation to Ivana; so it was kind of Melania and Barron to come and support the others' grief. Melania looked diplomatically sad, but Barron looked genuinely sad. I have a feeling Ivana treated Barron well at family gatherings—a bonus grandma. Ivana seemed to be a fountain of energy, fun, and dynamism.
