The saying is that "only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun.”   So that Yorkshire couple were forewarned if they let their pets stay outside in blistering heat.

Only issue I’ve had with them is male pits will always hit other male dogs

Mine made lousy guard dogs

I prefer Rotts who also kill on occasion

Or Dobies

A standard American bulldog or old southern bulldog

Is a much more dangerous to people than usual pit bull

But wardaddy why do they kill so often

Cause there are tons of them and anything remotely resembles Petey is called a pit bull

They are exponentially better guards and man killers than pit bulls would ever dream to be
