There is some stuff that you spray on the yard that’s supposed to drive them away, but I think it would cost a lot for a good-sized yard. Also, the package says it’s garlic based, and I HATE garlic. I’d rather have the moles than have to smell garlic the whole time I’m cutting the grass.
Someone once suggested bubble gum.
We found a way that works 100%. Find an old cheap push lawnmower or other Briggs Engine. Take the blades off.
Find a flexible SS hose to replace the muffler a few feet long. ( You will need an adapter fitting) Carefully open up a mole hole and stick the pipe down the hole. Start the engine and leave it run. Carbon monoxide will infiltrate the tunnels and kill them all.
Be CAREFUL and do not touch the exhaust hose till it cools a long time.
