Are black “intellectuals” capable of making an argument without stupid gratuitous references to slavery, Jim Crow, racism, etc?
Well, if you are a black intellectual, you don’t have to come up with any actual innovative ideas. All you have to do is figure out a way to tie any issue to slavery, or segregation, or racist oppression, and then you get lauded as some great mind. So why would they take the hard road of actually coming up with original ideas when society presents them with such an easy path to notoriety and recognition?
