Wild video shows NYC bodega worker allegedly stabbing man to death
Surveillance video captures the moment a Manhattan bodega worker allegedly stabbed a customer to death after the enraged man came around the counter and attacked him over a bag of chips.
The worker is first seen on the shocking video tending to customers from behind the counter at the Hamilton Heights Grocery store on Broadway — when he is suddenly confronted by a younger man.
The customer appears to yell at the store clerk, before shoving him into a shelf, the clip shows.
After several moments, the worker reaches to the right, toward shelves displaying candy.
He pulls out a large knife and plunges it into the younger man’s neck and chest — which quickly becomes covered in blood, the footage shows.

You don’t need to wonder...
I’m sorry for the man that was put into a situation where he was forced to take a person’s life. This is what happens when society is allowed and encouraged to break down.
So, a woman with a child comes in, late in the day.
She wants to buy a bag of potato chips but doesn’t have enough money. Lady stomps out of the store in frustration.
She then gets her male friend to go into the store and give the cashier a hard time because she didn’t have the cash.
Things did not quite go as expected.
No indication on whether the Lady ever got her potato chips or what brand of potato chip she was lusting for.
Mayah Adams needs to institute series knife control.

Once he went behind the counter and assaulted the employee, the employee had very reasonable fear of bodily harm. The man did NOT retreat with the damn chips and hung around next to an open register drawer.
Store clerk looks like a somewhat shorter, slighter-built Epic Beard Man.
This reminded me of that young guy who got fired for saying online he tried searching for “grocery” stores online in New York City, and all he found was bodegas.
The victim who defended himself was obviously old or prematurely aged and in poor health.
I have no problem with this. The thug clearly went behind the counter and violently assaulted a smaller and much older man placing him in fear of imminent grave bodily injury. The man was compelled to defend himself.
Play stupid games-win stupid prizes. This is a result of the idiot DA not prosecuting thugs, They feel emboldened to behave this way, and citizens feel the need to take extra steps to defend themselves as a result.
One less thug terrorizing the citizens.
It shouldn’t be that easy for someone to get next to a bodega worker, a gas station clerk, etc. Why not put them behind some sort of barrier? Nothing fancy, just an enclosed space that’s hard to breach.
In this day and age, I’d think that would be a priority.
Bet the “thug” wasn’t expecting that outcome. Good on the old dude.
Ever since Bernie Goetz, New Yorkers are supposed to meekly submit to assault.
They are like sardines those folks need some space, a Bodega is like a shoe box.

“Bodega” is a “neighborhood market” — a “convenience store” with a press agent.
Self defense.
Yep I knew they would charge him with murder and high bail or no bail. Clearly self defense.
