“CDC said the risk is high of re-infection for those who take Paxlovid: What Is ‘Paxlovid Rebound’?”

A friend of mine is just back to work this week, after having gone through the same nut roll - Positive for COVID, given Paxlovid, suffered a rebound re-infection. Symptoms were not bad. He had been previously vaccinated and boosted.

"Symptoms were not bad. He had been previously vaccinated and boosted."

I never got the shots, and I haven't had a re-infection after I was originally diagnosed without symptoms on 4/30. I was retested, and found negative for Covid on June 8th, when I ended back up in the ER because of adverse reactions to medications my doctor had prescribed, to take place of others I'd been on, and had no problems with. Those new meds screwed up just about everything in my body...liver, kidneys, blood, blood sugar. I still haven't recuperated fully.
