I'm as "law and order" as they come.I think the penalty for jaywalking should be 20 years hard labor. But this sounds a bit harsh...assuming that nobody was seriously hurt.

She is a career criminal....possible murder charge & something with a child & other armed robberies & B & E.

But someone could have been maimed or killed. Should the law's severity be dictated by actual physical harm to victims? (Here in California some people get out in a few years for killing.)
