How did they find so many mentally ill people to serve on the jury?

So then what?
Was it the car’s fault?
Is it time to pass common sense car legislation?

Trump’s fault. Must’ve been the derangement syndrome clouding his faculties.

If this is so, as unlikely as it is, why was he granted the privilege to drive?

The four comments so far are brilliant in getting to the core of this absurd decision.

It’s taken all of this time to screw up a verdict? It took only several months to hang the Lincoln assassins.

I have never understood “Not guilty by reason of insanity”. Rabid dogs don’t catch this break.
To: Eleutheria5
So Liberals essentially have full immunity. Isn't that precious.

He was a liberal and a liberal jury set him free... I’m not the least bit surprised.
If the guy had a MAGA hat on he’d have been sentenced to death.

There should be another category “GUILTY by reason of insanity” and given a sentence of confinement in a mental hospital.
He did it, so he is guilty, but insane so mental hospital instead of prison.

Wait... Isn’t Times Square in the United States?
Didn’t you RUN AWAY from the United States because you were scared of Obama?
You should probably stick to threads about Uganda or where ever it is that you ran away to.

There is. It’s as old as the Common Law, and Queen Elizabeth I had a problem with not hanging the defendant, and they used to be confined to a mental hospital, but then SCOTUS decided that mental hospital confinement was unconstitutional.
