Have you not been following the news? Kids are dying from fentanyl all the time. And not just junky losers. Mexican or Chinese scumbags are pressing their own pills now. They are calling them Ecstasy or Percocet or Adderall or just “pain pills” or whatever but they have fentanyl in them. If they don’t mix the batch right in their basement, people will die.
They are putting in into other drugs too. Sprinkling it on weed and mixing it in cocaine. We had 3 college kids near me all die in a bar after snorting what they thought was cocaine but turned out to be fentanyl.
Thinking that a teenager smoked pot or took an Adderall isn’t “suspecting the worst”.

Some people don’t care one whit about the person who died. They only post to make a point about whatever cause of death they believe is to blame. Fentanyl, COVID-19 vaccines, etc.
It brings out the worst in FReepers and they are an embarrassment to themselves and to FR.
It just goes to show that low intellect, herd mentality and sitting behind a keyboard is an ignorant combination. With that combination, facts are unimportant, it’s all about pushing the narrative.

jdsteel's guess aligns with the most common cause of sudden death for people in that age group. I don't see you can ascribe ill intent from that.
