How are you?
Hi, Vision! It’s heat advisory time down here. High humidity and high temperature. How’s it going with you?

Ummm, I’m not implying that it’s not hot somewhere else, nor am I crying about it. Just remarking to Vision, as we do every week, on what’s happening with us. No biggie.
BUT, a high temperature with very low humidity—in, say, Arizona, for instance—isn’t as bad as a high temperature with very high humidity on, say, the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Hi Gina, it was a nice week, nothing dramatic. I’m off to Florida next week for vacation and am looking forward to it.
You?
Florida! Cool!
We’re fine, just busy as can be. I laid another pallet of sod in our yard this week, and it’s beautiful. Did the edge/trim/mow/blow on the yard today and yesterday. It’s been a hot, humid week. The flowers look beautiful, and we have a bumper crop of “German Lunch Box” tomatoes. The pepper plants are kicking, too.
Sounds beautiful. Am happy for you.
As yu may have sussed out, Connie is still on short-term disability, and is still suffering from heart issues. She has more testing next Monday, and will consult with the cardiologist about converting to long-term, then we're going to get my disability attorney's legal eagles to determine what SSA options she has, because she'll never be back to 100% again. As much as I'm a homebody and love having her here, we're beginning to pluck each other's nerves. I hid all the gun ammo because she's getting cabin fever and has that glint in her eye...........LOL ((j/k) I'm hoping she gets approved so she can drive me to the neurologist the next day. If something isn't done, I'll be in a wheelchair a year from now, if not sooner.
Hey Viking, Sarasota. Flying down. Thanks for checking in. Stay strong in the midst of everything.
Bless your hearts, Viking, both of you! I’m glad you’re both doing well enough to possibly go fishing (except for the heat), so that’s decent news. I hope your pool gets cleared up. :-)
