I think it’s entirely possible the author interviewed *no* gun owners for this article. Given that all the quotes are unattributed beyond a first name, it’s possible he just made up a bunch of quotes and put them in the mouths of his sock puppets.
Why, funny you should mention this, because this same “article”, in modified form, shows up every time we are forced to retread the “gun debate”. The content is always about how “hunters” (apparently journalists feel they are the “true voice” of gun owners) agree with most of the “common sense gun control measures” that liberals think are the way to finally get a handle on crime.
