The Rxs are until forever; I’m 72. I can drop the OTCs but so far I haven’t had Covid or so much as a cold.
I’ve got these too.
Co-morbidities:
1) Heart left ventricle (pumping at 55-60%; up from 20-25%),
2) Heart bundle blockage (5 stents),
3) Diabetes (Type 2, down from Type 1),
4) Hypertension (under control w/ Rx),
5) Weight (down from 265 to 165lbs),
6) COPD (under control w/ emergency inhaler),
7) Stage 2 Mild Kidney Disease (medication & diet controlled).
God bless you!
The improvements are impressive.
Good job on the weight loss....100 lbs. is a lot to lose.
Congrats on the huge weight loss! I was up to 203 and am down to 183 now, but would love to keep it going to 170 or so. Seems I’ve plateaued for a while in the low 180s.
Some of the questions I had when I read your Comment #3 are now answered. Your health seems to be moving in the right direction, but without your height it is a little hard to know what the ideal weight should be. They very low carb Atkins type diet may eliminate your diabetes completely. I know people who have done this. Vitamin C taken 4 times a day may help your COPD. I think I would have developed Asthma if I had not storted the level I have taken of C for 50+ years. I hope you will be able to eliminate a number of your medications as you continue to eat well and loose weight. Keep up the good work.
