A man threw a rock at a mom and her children after he became impatient waiting at a Burger King drive-thru in Oklahoma, police have said.
Officers in Edmond, north of Oklahoma City, said the man started yelling at the family as the woman was checking her order at the drive-thru on May 22.
Police spokesperson Emily Ward told local TV station KFOR: "He began yelling to go and move. She hollered back, 'I'm looking at my food and then I'll go.' But before that could even take place, he went around her up over the median and left."
The woman drove away, but noticed that the man had started to follow her.
As the woman began to drive away, she saw the man had blocked two lanes of traffic with his Toyota FJ Cruiser, according to KFOR.
Ward said: "As she was slowly going around him, she planned to take a photo." At this point, the man is said to have thrown a rock at the driver.
The rock shattered her windshield, with glass hitting the woman and her children, but there were no injuries.
Edmond Police Department later shared photos of the suspect and his vehicle on social media, asking members of the public to help identify him.(snip)
On May 24, the department posted a update on Facebook saying: "After numerous tips, we have ID'd the suspect.
The man's name has not been released and it is not yet known if he is in police custody.

You’re not supposed to check your order before you drive away. You’re supposed to get home, check your order, and then drive all the way back and wait in line to get the order of fries they missed.
Or pull ahead, find your order is wrong, get our, say “excuse me” and then squeeze in between the car behind you and the teller window and straighten out your order.

He needs a little jail time. All of his meals will be served in a timely fashion, same time every day.
We ALWAYS check. Shorted too many times not to. we pull forward and park tho’ if its wrong i bust out my cane and limp inside with the bag. Hardly ever get any lip. I just tell them whats missing. Occasionally ill get a jackass, but when I show them whats wrong they grudgingly fix it. New thing Ive noticed is charging large prices and giving medium or small when they fill the order. I call them on that.
He should have had a Snickers.
That's right. If they mess up his order there, there's a whole team of management consultants who can help him out.
I check at every place except Chic Fil-A. They always get the order right.
Your post, satirical as it is, really hits home to me. Nobody but a fool ever leaves a drive-in before checking their order.
McDonald’s used to be the worlds worst at screwing up your order. And it was always in their favor. I wonder why that was?

Personally, I hate drive thrus. About 1/3 of the time, the person in front of me has some insolvable problem with their order that necessitates them being at the window for 3X the reasonable waiting period.
That being said, I have yet to hurl rocks, scream or even honk my horn. I just suffer in stoic silence.
Yeah. 5 years is little enough.
What an uncivil place the U.S. has become. A huge lot of uncivil mutts with no impulse control hurling rocks at a drive through at a woman and her kids. And nothing will happen to him.
