He was pretty good in “The War of the Worlds.” Played a savvy and resourceful working class guy, and a divorced father. He was very credible.
Loved the effects. But the idiot kids were extremely annoying.
If ya hadta take a shot every time he said "Rachel" you'd be schnockered by mid-movie. Caught myself rooting for the Martians a time-r-two. d;^)
I liked him in “War of the Worlds,” too. I haven’t watched every movie he ever made, but he was great in every movie I ever saw him in.
