New Disease Alert: GONORRHEA LECTIM
After almost 2 years of Covid we really did NOT need another disease to
worry about!
Warning Gonorrhea Lectim Pandemic-— Nation-Wide ALERT
Information about Gonorrhea Lectim.
The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new
virulent strain of this old disease! The disease is called Gonorrhea
Lectim. It’s pronounced
“Gonna re-elect ‘em”, and is capable of crippling our current
population.
The disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior
involving putting your cranium up your rectum. Many victims contracted
it in 2020 when they elected Joe Biden and Liberal Progressives into
power and are now starting to realize how destructive this sickness is.
It’s sad because Gonorrhea Lectim is easily cured with a new drug just
coming on the market called Votemout . It’s pronounced “Vote-em-out.”
It can be picked up at your local pharmacy without a doctor’s
prescription. You take the first dose now. The second dose should be
taken just before the 2022 elections, otherwise, it could eventually
wipe out all life as we presently know it in the USA.
Please pass this important message on to all those bright folk who
truly care about America, and to the many misguided fools who think
socialism is the answer to all their personal failings.
I tried to go to Chili’s last week. Restaurant was mostly empty but they said it would be an hour wait because of reduced kitchen staff.
Turning off the freeway to go to the mall noticed a young couple begging for money.
About half an hour later at the parking lot noticed them again with a bag of groceries and a pizza box getting into a nice looking Volvo.
And don't get me started on all those illegals driving station wagons.
Citrons
value stream mapping?
Explain please, or should i just duckduckgo?
All cash “income “
“Citrons”
I’ll be darned. Is this a new type of citrus?
It’s from SE Asia, but I think it’s cultivated in tropical regions elsewhere.

Tastes just like a regular lemon but they weigh over 1 kg each.
LOL!
“Explain please, or should i just duckduckgo?”
No need. Way back when, recruiters, HR and managers wanted to know what your experience was. Do you know this? Do you know that? So we got jobs based on our experience. Then, all of a sudden, it wasn’t the experience that managers were looking for. It was whether you had a degree. This meant you could be trained.
I’ve been in IT for over 35 years, pretty much serving in every role possible with the exception of CIO. Worked for fortune 100 companies, traveled the world, built countless data centers, wrote applications, was a systems engineer, project manager and now, as I wind down my career I am in operations. I do process improvement and oversight.
The last few years changed everything in IT. It’s no longer what you know, but what “value” do you bring to the organization and what separates you from the other candidates?
Value Stream Mapping is either a singular or multi matrixed activity which looks at existing or even new processes from an end to end perspective. By doing this exercise, you can find gaps and other inefficiencies which then can be dealt with. The goal is to maximize efficiencies and optimize each step of the process prior to automation. It is part of something called ITIL 4. (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). In ITIL 3, the focus was on different stages of putting something into production and how to improve on it. ITIL 4 looks at everything from a value statement. ITIL is a framework that is sort of a service management wrapper for anything that goes into a production environment.
“Value-stream mapping, also known as “material- and information-flow mapping”, is a lean-management method for analyzing the current state and designing a future state for the series of events that take a product or service from the beginning of the specific process until it reaches the customer. Wikipedia”
What’s happening today is the word “value” is the key driver for people looking for jobs. In looking at the original post, the person said he was out of work since 2018 and looking at his profile, he is a tech writer. A tech writer who can perform value stream mapping exercises with customers is worth his weight in gold and I would hire that person in a minute.
The Team I presently lead has over 50 different processes in our Statement of Work. I did this exercise with my Team on several processes and brought in experts to get us started. It’s a great skill to have, relatively easy to learn and combined with things like ITIL, AGILE, LEAN, it’s a six figure salary and most of it can be done remote.
Or dead people.
Okay, what says mark,mark,mark???
Dog with a hairlip
What do you call a dog with no legs?
Call him whatever you want, he still ain’t coming to you.
What do you do for a dog with no legs?
Take him for a drag.
What’s the difference between inlaws and outlaws?
Outlaws are wanted.
I believe that they are properly pronounced Lay-MOHNS
Rough lemon:
Rough lemon is the fruit and the tree of a citrus hybrid, like the rangpur a cross between mandarin orange and citron. Rough lemon is a cold-hardy citrus and can grow into a large tree. The rough lemon is ninety per-cent rind, making it borderline inedible: Wikipedia
Your citron has way more rind than the rough lemon!
“Do you know how to do to value stream mapping?”
+++++
I first read that as “napping” and was about to reply “I do!”
Nevermind!
Spot on
Yup. It comes from a stand of 4 citron trees on some land owned by a friend of my wife up in the Thap Than district of Uthai Thani province in Thailand. We go up to visit every 3-4 months when we want a break from the beach.
We usually combine it with, for example, a trip to the jungles in Western Kanchanaburi or someplace else relatively nearby.
