WATCH: Dinesh D'Souza's 2000 Mules returns to theaters for a typical release

The film 2000 Mules, which documents allegations of fraud during the 2020 elections, is returning to theaters Friday.

Around 400 theaters across the nation will perform a normal release with typical ticket sales and multiple showings each day beginning May 20.

"With the success of the movie, everyone talking about the movie, a lot of independent theaters began to call us, ‘Hey, why didn't we have this movie in the theater?'" Dinesh D'Souza, conservative political commentator and 2000 Mules creator, said. "And we were like, ‘You know what? This is fantastic.' A lot of our people love to see the movie in groups, love to see it in the theater. In fact, we've been bombarded with people trying to organize groups."

D'Souza said some theaters may have early showings starting on Thursday. 2000 Mules will continue to show as long as the film sells well.

"2000 Mules is, well, the phrase in the movie business is ‘going wide,'" D'Souza said. "I want to make it go wide so that everyone can see it."

For those who cannot go to theaters, D'Souza has reopened online streaming available at SalemNOW and at Rumble's subscription-based platform, Locals.

**SNIP**

During its opening weekend of May 6, 2000 Mules grossed more than $1 million in its first 12 hours of streaming - good enough to put the film in the estimated box office top 10 for that weekend.

Did anyone buy the dvd?

We did and there is an echo throughout the soundtrack. Was it recorded in that fashion?

Is there anyone YOU know who is buzzing about the movie? Is there really a pent up demand for another theatrical release?

“Going wide”?

There is definitely a compelling movie to be made, but this was not it.

The subject of the movie is vital, as was the subject of Mike’s symposium (definitive mathematical proof of decisive fraud).

But our side has neither the talent nor the cultural means to make an effective case.

I checked my local theater and they’re not going to have it. Hopefully that’ll change.

You can download the movie for $20.00 and watch it with as many people as you want for a weekend. Actually you don’t download it but get a password for a weekend to see it on line. You can also pay $30.00 and have a permanent password. I did that and have shown it several times at friends homes.

The movie makes a convincing argument that there was a for sure fraud in at least this part of the election. It doesn’t make the case that this was the only fraud, it is that they have proof of this fraud.

The left says in answer that “yes votes were collected illegally but that the methods used should not be illegal and that although the collection method was illegal the votes were not illegal.”

No, that was definitely not 'vital'.

This movie has actual substantive, provable information and tangible evidence. Not conspiracy nonsense.

The subject of Mike's symposium was sharing network packet captures with computer experts that could validate his proof of Chinese interference. Anyone disproving his evidence would get millions. However, Mike did not produce the packet captures, and he did not pay out prize money.

I watched 90% of the symposium. The packets were supposed to be the subject, but were not. That has never been explained, as far as I know.

The symposium was a communications mess. It was way over-hyped by people like Ron Watson, whose breathless pronouncements have never panned out. The entire presentation lacked coherence except for certain short segments (Clements etc).

The mathematical evidence was quite convincing to me. The final numbers were necessarily fraudulent, according to the math. But the math stuff has gone nowhere, and the packet stuff has disappeared.

Great points. I similarly followed it closely, and I agree with you the most interesting thing to come out was the statistical analysis.

Sadly, I think Mike got taken for a ride with Ron Watkins. That guy has a history of scams. I was skeptical going in since - if Mike had the data - why not publish it beforehand? Either he didn't really, or he wanted to detonate a bomb when he dropped it. Since nothing was ever delivered, that leaves just one possibility.

Amen.

When the Georgia Bureau of Investigation rejected True the Vote's claims in November, 2021, they stated what Dinesh D'Souza deliberately avoided admitting in 2000 Mules: A suspected mule's cell phone only had to come within 100 feet of a ballot drop box or "stash house" for True the Vote to count it as a visit. 100 FEET! D'Souza keeps repeating, "Cell phone tracking can be very accurate!" Which is true, but does not mean that True the Vote's tracking was very accurate. When TTV had to provide detailed information to the GBI, they admitted the truth. The film lies by omission.

Here's a photo of the letter from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation:

Then we have the film's false implication that True the Vote helped solve the Secoriea Turner murder. That did not happen.
