A saw a meme yesterday that showed two news stories, one new one about monkey pox and one years old about shingles. They both used the same picture.
There is not enough picture’s of white people with Monkeypox so to be woke the media is using it’s cousin smallpox for images they look identical in the actual pox phase the skin lesions are identical in clinical characteristics so much so that the ONLY way to medically differentiate them is with DNA or ELISA testing. Doctor’s cannot diagnose the difference with visual examination. Smallpox was declared extinct in the wild but there is still the possibility that it lives in the original host animals and could come back at some point. This is one of the reasons most first world countries keep smallpox vaccine in reserves.
