Why would they call Boggs Margo? I thought they would throw chicken at him because Boggs claims that hes eaten chicken for every meal his entire life since the day he was born.

Double-header today. Decent possibility that Yankee fans will rain down “Jaaaaackieeeeee” taunts on the easily-triggered Anderson. And I hope they do. Amusing how a guy (Anderson) with very little impulse control compared himself to a guy (Robinson) specifically chosen by Branch Rickey BECAUSE of his impulse control and character.
These players would never make in England with the soccer chants.

They are very upset because Donaldson “disrespected a black man”.
When I was a kid growing up we had a term for people who easily took offense and then lashed out—they had “a chip on their shoulder”.
That is Tim Anderson.
That is ESPN.
That is Major League Baseball if they punish Donaldson.
Oh man, MLB players are so sensitive (pitchers especially!) that there’s no way they could handle a Premier League crowd in the UK. Some of the chants there are just...wow. NOTHING is off limits.
I think my two favorite ones (that I can repeat on FR) are the one about Mesut Ozil—”his eyes are offside”—and the one from a bottom-feeder team to Man United or similar:
