Stephen Colbert returned to “The Late Show” Monday night after a bout of COVID-19 and jumped right back into the fray, suggesting Fox News host Tucker Carlson should probably be concerned that his “browser history matches that of a mass murderer.”
First, the comedian expressed his sadness over the mass shooting in Buffalo, New York on Saturday that left 10 people dead, most of them Black. A white, 18-year-old male named Payton Gendron is accused of targeting the predominantly Black neighborhood in what authorities said was a hate crime.
In online writings purportedly written by Gendron, he embraced the racist “replacement” conspiracy theory, which holds that white Americans are being replaced by people of color. The ideology is a common theme on Carlson’s Fox News show.
According to The New York Times, Carlson’s “producers sometimes scoured his show’s raw material from the same dark corners of the internet that the Buffalo suspect did.” Other mass killers, including the shooter who killed 23 people in El Paso, Texas in 2019 and the New Zealand gunman who slayed 51 people earlier that year, have also espoused the racist replacement ideology.
However, Colbert said that doesn’t mean Tucker’s responsible for what happened.

You have to pay attention to who Carson had as guests, while Carson was usually careful about letting his liberal partisanship show( he really misjudged his audience when he took nasty shots at Reagan) there were times like when he had fellow leftist Carl Reiner on that he let the mask slip.
Leno was very even handed as a rule but all the rest of these late night hacks are so openly hostile to conservatives as well as having no talent that they are painful to watch.

The shooter had been an “avowed Marxist”, but now thought of himself as a “moderate, Democrat authoritarian”. This, in his own words.
So if Stephen Colbert supported mandatory masking, the green agenda, and other authoritarian Democrat platforms, his browser history likely overlaps with that of the shooter far more. Oh, and he hated Fox news.

Carlson is under fire because he stands up. If they can beat him back down, it will serve as a warning to anybody else who wants to take on the coven.

Colbert’s sister was the Dem nominee for Congress in Charleston and lost badly. I don’t think he ever got over it and seethes hatred to this day.
Gone are the days when politicians ran as their duty to serve the country and then gladly got out.
