No they weren’t. The neighborhood is mad at the Dallas police department for even suggesting it.
Neighbors have been complaining about the coyote before the attack.
What the hell was a 2 year-old doing on the porch unattended? These are the same type of people who move into bear country and feed the bears-even though there is a huge fine for doing it-then they cry and whine when their pets, their kid, themselves are attacked-I live in a remote area-we have coyotes, mountain lions and now-bears, too-and we have some ignorant people who moved here from cities and think it is fine not to secure their trash in a heavy container-and even to put out food for the coyotes.
The animals were here first-If you are not willing to listen to the game warden who says don’t leave your pet out alone, don’t feed the predators and secure your trash, then you are endangering not only yourself but your neighbors, too-and that is not cool...
