Umami is what makes KFC taste like KFC their 11 secret spices has been exposed via modern mass spectrometry done on the coating that measures down to the part per billion the exact chemical and isotopic composition of every element and compound in the sample...KFC is sodium chloride, white pepper and a very healthy dose of MSG that’s it no other compounds were.found in any of the samples taken from various sources taken.
