I read a headline the other day that said that Kathy Barnett wanted to make a statue of Obama a few years back. Is this true do you think or a drive-by? I don’t live in Pennsylvania so I’m not that up on her.
In the last 24 hours the smears against her have been in full swing... which means that the polls showing her really having a shot must be legit and that the McCormick and Oz campaigns have internals showing her support is indeed a threat.
Like it or not Obama was the first black president, why would any black person advocating a statue for him be controversial? If true... even the smears I haven’t seen anything where she condoned or lauded his policies.
The other one going around is some posts she made back in the 2015 primary season when she bashed Trump and supported walker. If Bashing Trump in September 2015 is a problem the at least 50-75% of Free Republic have a problem.
I expect we’ll see a lot more mud in the coming days.. won’t change my vote, I don’t know for certain how Barnette will govern if elected, but I’m pretty sure how Oz or McCormick will, I’ve seen their types my entire life... no problem giving her a shot.
If she does pull of the upset Tuesday, that’s as big a middle finger to the PA GOP establishment as Trump was to the national GOP establishment... Don’t kid yourself, this is a big deal.. she pulls it off, its political earthquake.

She started a petition for an obama statue to be erected at some emancipation museum maybe in Gettysburg. Sounds appropriate. he was a half black two term president.
