The guy had a knife that he was going to use on Chapelle. The proper amount of physical force was used to stop the guy from completing his attack. Prove that isn’t true in a court of law.
The knife was in a backpack and he didn’t bring it onstage.
That’s why he’s being charged with a misdemeanor instead of a felony.
