Really? When is the last time you saw a Roman Catholic fanatic blow himself up, how about a Southern Baptist or Methodist? I know you must be talking about the 7th Day Adventist or perhaps the Mormons, maybe you are talking about the Jehovah Witnesses? There are no violent extremists in those religions. You might find a Buddhist who is willing to burn himself up for some cause but not to hurt anyone else. You might even find a Hindu who is willing to fight but not to kill innocents.
If you want violent extremists who want to kill as many innocents as possible you need to look in the 25% of Islam who believe it is good to kill in the name of Islam. Those are the people who think they will receive 72 virgin sex slaves for their violent extremism.

Good post from start to finish, but I hesitate to accept the 25% estimate of the lunatic fringe. Probably a much higher percentage than that.
