Dangerous chemicals found in fast-food wrappers...PFAS was found in bowls, bags, plates, and wrappers, even from companies that say they’ve phased them out.

ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) - Think about that takeout food order you made recently — almost all of it probably came wrapped or boxed. It’s what is in some of that packaging that’s raising concern. A new investigation from Consumer Reports finds potentially dangerous chemicals in many commonly used food wrappers.

Our ability to test has become so good, we can find a few atoms among billions.

The dosage makes the poison.

There are amounts so small, they cause no harm.

This is fear mongering for clicks and money, and nothing else.

There’s not much that’s man made that’s not bad for man.

I wouldn’t want to do without metals which are the earliest thing processed by man as in Bronze Age, Iron Age. Every step of the process gives off deadly fumes.

Includes Teflon (PTFE) - tons of medical products are made from ePTFE including vascular grafts. Tens of thousands of people are running around with a 4-10 grams of ePTFE for decades and no signs of them having this "potentially dangerous" chemical.

Sheesh.

I agree, they have more crunch and the grease(juice in FF lingo) soaks in rather than running off from table to lap.

Zactly.

Like UV from the sun can be harmful but, there are dependencies and dosage that one thing or another harmful, helpful or whatever....
