Once World War 1 ended my interest in "Downton Abbey" waned. I did slog through the remaining seasons and the first movie.

Downton Abbey was outstanding at its best.Not all the episodes were great but many were.OTOH,Upstairs/Downstairs was truly classic at its best.Not all the episodes were classic but most were.

One thing's for sure...Maggie Smith (the Dowager Countess) and Gordon Jackson (Hudson) were beyond amazing...both were,by themselves,worth the price of admission.

But just as Upstairs II failed Downton II also deserves to fail.
