Yes it is. I like it a lot. The Spanish use it in Soup called Sopa Tinta (ink soup) and very tasty. Another delicious way is marinated and put in a salad.
I did not fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegan.

My favorite. Smoked taku poke from Fresh Catch, in Kaneohe, (By the Windward Mall) and a side of furikake fries. There is a reason I have lost 40lbs since I moved off island.
In Turkey for birth of grandson( kid went to Rutgers met Turkish gal), had most delicious scungilli grilled, a Greek restaurant- fabulous! And cheap! 15 to 1 Turkish lira!
