Man and his wife had four girls in a row. The guy would occasionally get teased. His answer: Do you play poker? Yea. Well if you got dealt a hand with four queens would you play the hand or throw the cards away? No more teasing.
I always wanted a daughter but love my two sons. My first and second grandchildren were boys and I love them. Third grandchild a lovely little Mexican girl I adore. That is good enough for me! I shall spoil her in the extreme.
I think Daddy Dearest can FO.
Well, you didn’t stomp around in front of your first six girls whining about the 7th. Nobody’s perfect, and you kept the crud to yourself, because you love them.
Go the route my father took. He helped pay for my college (I cut my tuition in half with academic scholarships and remaining on the Dean’s list) and I paid for my own big bash NY-style wedding.
The gift he gave me has helped sustain my family over a lifetime.
The wedding lasted one day...the marriage is still going strong almost 30 years later.
Why is he so upset? I’m sure at least one of his daughters will be convinced by todays public school system that they are really a boy by the second or third grade. In fact, if the gender bending left wins the next election you may as well go ahead and start dressing them like boys.
LOL!
Well there is ladies golf.
And have your ammo stocked for when the girls start dating.
His fault.
Wish that fact could’ve been rubbed in every man’s face who whined about this thru history.
LOL!
The old saying is that a daughter is a daughter all of her life, a son is a son until he takes a wife..
Exactly like one uncle. 8 kids split, almost perfectly alternating along the way.
I don’t think so. Or else a lot of women are having lots of miscarriages. If miscarriage is your reasoning for ending up without boys.
Which doesn’t fly, either, based on the fact it’s always about 50/50 in a population.
It’s because men carry so-called “Y” (really a weak V, actually like a cut-off X) and are the only ones who can pass it. Or won’t.
I gave birth to two sons and a daughter.
My daughter was born with an incurable endocrine defect impacting less than 1% of the population that caused hyperandrogenism and gender dysphonia. Teams of doctors and thousands in medical bills later, only to be told we were too late and could not stop it.
She didn’t need testosterone treatments to morph into a dude; her system was doing that naturally. It is a level of hell no parent or kid should have to visit, but there we were.
She’s 20 now and if you met her, you would think she was a nice young man.
But I get where you are coming from. Too many people want to Frankenstein their kids instead of getting to the root of the problem. Scary that society is being conditioned to believe that transgenderism is normal. It’s not; its very rare and destroys the lives of those impacted by it.
I had just turned six when my youngest sister was born (we also have a middle sister).
Dad dropped us off at Grandma’s as he was driving Mom to the hospital, telling me “if your Mother has another girl, I might not bring her home!” That was my Dad’s sense of humor; but I was quite upset after they left as I was sure he was serious...lol.
God Bless you, for all that you and your child have endured.
That’s the biggest reason to post stuff here.. the comments. lol
Still managing to disparage females in the process.
Just think of all the grandbaby boys you will be having.
