AFAIK, Patrick lives in Donetsk, which is just miles from the Russian border. It’s a predominantly Russian speaking population. While 14,000 Ukrainian citizens in the Donbass were being slaughtered by the Ukrainian militias over 8 years, nobody in the world seemed to GAF...except Russia.

Patrick is apparently aligned with the DPR militia which tries to defend the area from the Azov battalion and other neo-Nazi groups mainly using weapons and equipment it receives from Ukrainian Army deserters.

There is no proof that Russian soldiers were assisting residents in the Donbass against the Ukrop surreptitiously. But since when does a lack of evidence stop the pro-Ukrainians here from insinuating otherwise? It’s the textbook definition of propaganda and Ukraine has been putting it out nonstop since February.
