Inaccurate claims about ivermectin being used to treat COVID-19 in Japan, a country where almost 80% of the population is fully vaccinated, have resurfaced online.
As previously debunked by Reuters on Nov. 1, 2021 ( here ), the drug is not approved by Japan’s medical regulator as a COVID-19 treatment.
