***Most COVID-19 patients’ families are deliberately kept in the dark about what is really being done to their loved ones.***
As someone who lost a beloved older brother to CoVid, his hospitalization was the most torturous thing anyone could do to him or to us. Our family was completely in the dark as to his care under the guise that the nurses were too busy to call and fill his wife in. Since no one was allowed to visit, not even his vaccinated nurse daughter, who was his advocate? Patients had no rights once CoVid entered our lives.
It probably was my brother’s time to go to the Lord. I have accepted that. What was horrendous was that he had to die with only a stranger who clocked in that day at his side. No wife, no children, no grandchildren, no siblings, nieces, or nephews, no friends. That part still burns me up.
When will CoVid patients ever have rights again?
Our overlords have decided that these patients are worse than lepers.
Makes you wonder about the myriad of documents you sign when being admitted for a simple colonoscopy. It’d take a week to read them all. Are we perhaps signing our own death certificates?
Just wondering, was the hospital involved part of a national chain or association or religious group?
What a sad, dreadful story about the loss of your brother. I feel so sorry for you. Nobody should have to go through what you, your brother, and families went through.
