One of the great things about Domino’s pizza is the level of customization. You can get just about as many or as few of the toppings and substitutes as your heart desires. It’s no shock that choosy customers would take advantage of the popular feature. But Domino’s employee Beth D. couldn’t help but laugh when she got one rare request.
In the clip, she removed the custom pizza from a Domino’s kitchen oven and placed it in a box. The pizza was completely bare, with no sauce, cheese or toppings. It was just the fresh baked crust. Beth laughed as she jokingly took the time to “make sure all the toppings are even.”
She cut the naked pizza into slices and topped the crust with garlic sauce. Then she packed it up, and the pizza was ready to go. Beth compared the order to a “giant breadstick,” which really doesn’t sound too bad.

Otherwise known as flatbread or a cracker, depending on how well done.
Baking bread at home is really not difficult. Especially some of the ‘no knead’ types
Inflation busting pizza 🤪
Put some Crystals or Texas Petes on it.

Heh, it’s like CNN/MSNBC without the news. Each and every day.
If you order a “plain pizza” in one of the traditional apizza shops in New Haven you get a crust with tomato sauce. That’s it. If you order pineapple, there will be splash off Long Wharf.
“Apizza” is the original spelling
What do you call a donut with out a hole?
A donut
I ordered a turkey sandwich at a chain restaurant with the instructions “just lettuce and tomato on it please.” When I picked it up and took it to my table, I noticed it was a bun with lettuce and tomato. I looked at the order receipt and it said “no meat”.
I took it back to the counter and said “what is it about ordering a turkey sandwich that makes anyone think ‘no turkey’?? They took the sandwich and added some turkey meat. Problem solved.
However, I kept the receipt for months just to show people I wasn’t lying about my experience. One lady told me, “This is Austin. Lots of vegans”.
A Berliner
Which is probably why they did it. You were a reasonable person who, when they didn't get what you ordered, accepted it could be easily fixed.
Most vegans and vegetarians would likely have had an absolute meltdown in the opposite situation.
It's safer for the employees to deal with fixing something for you, than trying to fix something for them.
Somebody had the munchies.
You can get anything you want
At Domino’s restaurant
It was finished with garlic sauce after slicing.
Actually, this sounds pretty good, just not with Domino’s crust, OR their garlic sauce. I’ll have to try it when I get my pizza oven going again.
Sometimes, all you need is bread.
Bread is all you knead.
We do this a lot at my pizza restaurant. A lot want the crust barely baked so it comes off the pan. They customize it at home.
